Thanks for this! I took 2024 off from alcohol, and the streak is still alive in 2025. Not sure how widely available it is, but I had a shockingly good NA white from Fabelhaft at Lost Letter here in RVA.
This! I live in the middle of nowhere, but used to order N/A wines from a shop in LA... suddenly my local grocer started carrying Fritz Mueller - it's stellar - and now I'm saving a buuuuundle on shipping..
Maggie, love to see more beverage folks talking about this - I recently wrote two pieces about de-alc wine, as it's the biggest opportunity in zero proof right now. I'd love to share the links in thread with permission - no worries if you want to keep it solely on this topic.
I've been studying, tasting and pairing de-alc wine for the past three years, after decades in the business and owning a wine bar; recently going all in on an alcohol free year. So I'm very passionate (and excited) by your question. Easy answer - yes there are a number of good de-alc wines out there right now. I will say Leitz was an early leader in quality and still holds - I also recommend their Blanc de Blancs still and sparkling, as well as the sparkling rosé and Pinot (with a slight chill as it's very light, even for a German PN). Other recommendations: Odd Bird Blanc de Blancs sparkling and GSM, Thomas & Scott Noughty Rosé Sparkling and Rouge. Currently on my list to try for Q1'25 Oceano Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Zeronimo and Bolle.
Thanks for the thumbs up, never want to post my on links on another thread without asking 😉 - similar recs to above, with some philosophy and opportunities across the industry with this movement.
Good stuff Maggie! Love the NA curiosity! You need to try my new client BOLLE. Tis brand new so I don't know if any retail is happening out your way. There are 5-6 NAs I like including Wolffer Estate. Here are a couple others

ooh, will have to try that!
Fritz Mueller’s sparkling na wine is very nice. Tried it a my local French bistro & always have it in my fridge now. Was nice to toast with on NYE as I was the designated driver https://fritzmueller.fm/en/wines/fritz-mueller-non-alcoholic/
